Manage dynamic carrier keys and credentials

The BYOK Providers panel lets you configure credentials for email and SMS delivery.

Configuration Steps

1. Navigate to the Providers section.
2. Select your channel card and click Configure.
3. Select your provider type.
4. Input your secret API credentials.
5. Save the configuration. Your key is immediately encrypted and saved securely.

Connection Testing

After configuring a provider, click the Play (Test Connection) icon on the card:

• This instantiates the provider service.
• It sends a test notification to your tenant email (for EMAIL) or a test payload.
• It reports success or failure directly in the dashboard, helping you verify credentials before routing live traffic.

422 Guardrail Responses

To protect your queues, the Notifyflow ingestion endpoint checks for active providers on request ingestion. If a client attempts a POST /v1/notify call on a channel that has no active provider config, the server rejects the request with a 422 Unprocessable Entity response containing:

This prevents jobs from getting stuck in retry loops.
